Travelling with Children in Chiang Mai

Thais love children, and yours will get plenty of attention, especially if they are foreign looking.

Baby formula/baby food

These are readily available, including many international brands. If your child specifically needs a particular brand, let us know and we can always find out for you if it’s available here.

Baby Gear

We can provide you with baby goods such as nappies, strollers (although you may want to bring baby carriers), child seat for cars, etc, so you don’t have to bring them. You just need to let us know what you need so we can get them ready for you. If not available, we’ll let you know.

Hazards

There are several hazards to be aware off and you’ll need to keep a closer eye on the children. Eg. Crossing the road, pools are often unfenced. Extra care also needs to be taken when doing activities like climbing and swimming in waterfalls. Do not allow children to touch dogs and cats on the street.
